Successful Salmon Season with Barbarossa Fishing Charters | September 4–7
The first week of September brought incredible success for Barbarossa Fishing Charters as we wrapped up another unforgettable stretch of salmon fishing on the Monterey Bay. From September 4–7, anglers aboard our Parker 2520XLD enjoyed non-stop action, steady bites, and cool coastal mornings on California’s Central Coast.
Salmon Fishing on the Monterey Bay
The Bay Area continues to deliver some of the best salmon fishing in Northern California, and this past September was no exception. Our guests reeled in quality salmon each day, many reaching their limits while soaking in the breathtaking ocean views.
The late-summer season is always a highlight, as schools of salmon move through the Monterey Bay and create prime opportunities for both seasoned anglers and first-time fishers. For anyone lucky enough to join us September 4–7, it was a phenomenal way to close out the season.
A Strong Finish Before the Season Closure
With calm seas and productive waters, conditions couldn’t have been better. Trolling along the canyon edges and productive bait lines, our crew consistently put clients on the fish. Every trip brought smiles, bent rods, and coolers filled with fresh, wild-caught salmon.
The 2025 salmon season has now officially closed. While we’re sad to see it end, we’re grateful for the amazing memories and success it brought. We’re already looking forward to the possibility of salmon season reopening in April 2026.
