Had a great day of salmon fishing. Started off fishing the the west side of the Soquel Hole, didn’t see much action for the first hour, so moved over to the shelf about 10 miles outside Moss Landing. Quickly landed a fish on a hoochie with an 11in flasher and another 1 hour later on a spinner head anchovy. The bite died off for us for the next few hours so tried trolled around to try and find the fish. Around 12pm in 1200 FOW we found a solid school of fish, where we landed 2 more, lost 3, and missed a couple bites. We left the fish biting at 1pm, when the 25kt winds really kicked in.
