Barbarossa Fishing is a 6-Pack fishing charter based out of South San Francisco and Santa Cruz, Ca. The Barbarossa is a 2015 25′ Parker Pilot House fishing vessel, well outfitted to take long offshore runs to Big Sur or the Farallon Islands. Equipped with brand new Garmin sonar and radar/chartplotter. This boat also has a private flushing toilet in the bow of the boat. Powered by quiet new 4-stroke twin Yamaha 150hp outboards, we will be to the fishing grounds in no time. We specialize in targeting offshore species such as Tuna, Rockfish, Lingcod, Salmon, Halibut, and Crab.

About the captain:

Captain Justin Payton grew up in the bay area and has been fishing since a young age. He remembers going out the Golden Gate fishing for salmon on his Grandpa’s trawler. Growing up on the Delta he was an avid bass and striper fisherman, then moving to Northern California for 6 years to target King Salmon, Stripers, and Trout on the Sacramento River. Since moving to Santa Cruz in 2016, he has become an expert in saltwater fishing, learning the ropes from local anglers and personal experience. His favorite fish to catch are salmon and tuna, and will throw everything in the tackle box at them to get you that fish of a lifetime.
